Introduction
I have been practicing yoga for 35 years and have been teaching since 1982. My teaching explores the fundamental patterns of movement, action, and breath that underlie all the yoga postures.
In classes and workshops I present information in a practical and common sense manner. My teaching style is clear with liberal doses of encouragement and compassion. I work well with those people dealing with chronic pain and fatigue.
As an RMT in private practice, my own eclectic healing work has evolved from courses taken in such areas as Rosen Method Bodywork, Infant Developmental Movement, Craniosacral Therapy, Somatic Education, Visceral Manipulation and Energy work.
Personal History
Working with my individual clients is very much like coming to understand and appreciate the beauty and intricacies of an evolving tapestry. I draw upon vibrant threads spun from 35 years of yoga practice, 15 years of Jungian analysis and several apprenticeships under women pioneers, to see and respond to each person's particular needs. It is the work of these women, who have committed their lives to exploring, deepening and strengthening the relationship between body, mind and soul that have fed my commitment to helping others. Assisting others to develop their awareness and the tools they need to live, in both body and spirit, with an appreciation of their unique beauty and vitality is a worthy task.
